Day 5 - London

Today I arrived from Helsinki at 9:30 and it took me 2 hours to make it back to hotel. London traffic is amazing. On the way we drove through center of London and saw some of the well known sights which inspired me to maybe on Friday when we leave to come past and do a motorbike tour and take pictures.

 

We had lunch in a Brazilian restaurant and had Pao de Queijo and skewers of meat and chicken. Very nice.

 

In the afternoon we took the tube into London and did the City of London Walking Tour. We loved it although our feet and legs probably did not ;-).

On the walking tour we did take some time off to taste hot chocolate and carrot cake. Yummie.

 

For the evening we had dinner in the Butler's Wharf area and were extremely impressed an pleased at the number of your people that were there making an absolute racket. We have found that the amount of young people being out, drinking and just having fun is an excellent measure of how well the economy of that city, country is doing.

The burger and Guiness were to die for and Paula also enjoyed the fish and chips.

We closed a full day by going to a Vue theatre to watch a movie. The experience was excellent as we are very close to screen and sound is amazing. A total thrill.

We loved the day in London town. Thanks to the weather gods, we were spared of rain and at times even had the sun shining ;-).
